the Dagesse sword appears to be a really wide type XIV with a 27" blade. that's a style I love but the only sword out there that really fits the bill other than the current standard line dagesse is the Albion Yeoman/Sherrif. I like those swords enough I am tempted to buy the Albion to get one having an option of a really wide bladed type XIV as a practical, signature, or (dare I dream) a Regal series sword would have me sold for sure. don't know why I didn't see this before but I didn't.

The Dagesse is being redone. Christian has sent me drawings on the fittings and Gus has the blade already designed for this. It will be a work of art.

ok I'll put some money aside. any chance this will be made into a regal and if so can I make some suggestions as to general spex (hint: I've been drooling over the Albion Yeoman)? I really want a Gus made sword with a wide type XIV blade on it. that way I won't have to buy the Albion which will make me happy as I am trying real hard to not like Albion.

In the works:

Prototype completed-
The Bastard Sword
The War Sword
The Crecy (This one will have long and short blade options)
An as of yet unnamed sword similar to the Passau
The Monarch

Almost Completed prototypes:
The Norseman
The Norman
The Lionheart

Next in line The Agincourt (This one will have long and short blade options)
Discussing the Blade with Gus for the Dagesse.
All are built based on Gus Trim designed blades and hopefully all should make it out this year.
I believe most if not all will have a Signature version designed by Christain Fletcher

The Praetorian will have an upgraded scabbard but the blade and handle will remain the same. This sword sells too well to mess with too much.
